BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS & PREVIVORS TELL THEIR STORIES

"For over 25 years I have been living up to my mission: to empower women worldwide. Within this mission, creating breast cancer awareness has always been a cause very close to my heart. From the beginning of my brand I have had conversations with breast cancer survivors. They told me about their struggles, needs and wishes, which I took into consideration when designing my special prosthetic bra, but they also told me about the emotional aspects of their journey. The uncertainty, the fear of ‘losing their femininity’, the strength they got from the support of people around them.

It made me realize how important it is to share these stories. To inspire women that are in a similar situation, and to inform others so they know how to support their loved ones. To build a community of incredible strong and kind women that are there to help each other; from discussing their options after a mastectomy to simply being there to listen. That is why I’m using my platform to amplify the voices of some of these amazing women. Read their stories here! "
