Dance, the muse and I
Later, during the 80s and 90s club explosion, dance became my gateway to freedom and creative expression. Pumping up the jam with a community of misfits and mavericks who refused to be labeled, we didn’t need permission to express ourselves. We owned the night. Letting my creative juices flow to the rhythm of the throbbing house beats – often to the point of trance – I started sculpting the sensual shapes that would inspire and define several generations of feminine feminists.
