My dose of art

by Marlies Dekkers
As much as I have a love for fashion designers, beautiful fabrics and craftsmanship, I also have a love for spending my time visiting exhibitions and wandering through museums.

Art, architecture and the feeling of walking around in the mind of an artist – it fascinates me. In that respect I’m one spoilt, lucky lady. As I’m travelling a lot, I grab every chance to see many different works of art, making sure I get my regular dose of artistry.
Here are some of my favorite art exhibitions which are definitely worth a visit.

Couture Inspiration

For the designs of this Fall Winter 2014 collection, I was inspired by the heroic story of Joan of Arc. Reflecting the past years while having experienced all aspects of life, I found this legend of Joan of Arc admirable and inspirational.
