The Mauritshuis collection is designed for ladies who like to marvel at marble. I was inspired by the façade of the Mauritshuis. A building of historical importance to the Dutch and built in the days of Holland’s Golden Age. It has a beautifully adorned pediment displaying a rich palette of curly symbols. My favourite one is the shield carried by angels, which is decorated with three powerful lions radiating elegance.

I translated the triangle shape of the pediment in the straps of this collection. And I worked the lions into an elegant lace pattern to cover the fabric of my design. Wear The Mauritshuis to show the world your own regal aspirations.
