This Fall and Winter, we unravel the magical mystery of Agatha Christie. She is the Queen of Crime! The most popular author of all time inspired me to design a collection with timeless tartan, sexy faux-leather and bewitching patterns. Discover my Fall Winter 2020 collection with textured materials, such as faux-leather, tweed and lace.
Tartan, check and tweed!
This season, both my iconic Gloria collection and my The Detective couture collection tap into the preppy tartan trend. The details of The Detective are inspired by the ultimate ‘it coat’: the trench coat. As soon as I put on my trench coat, I immediately feel empowered: ready to conquer the world! The leather-look buttons, precise cut and a snazzy belt create an androgynous look with a flirty (plot) twist. For my Gloria collection, I combined a debonair tweed print in warm coffee brown with dashing menswear details.
Poisonous, deep colors
Inspired by Agatha’s obsession with poisons, I chose a deep garnet red and a seductive cyanide green for this Fall and Winter lingerie collection. These richly saturated earth tones create a luxurious seduction. The Mauritshuis in rhubarb red offers an ultra-sexy look with its luscious, curly lace with dotted piping and a overlay of netting. For my iconic Space Odyssey, I overlaid the pine green base with a seductive, floral-embroidered lace fabric.
Classic blue
Blue is the new black this Fall Winter season. This versatile, timeless color combined with refined silhouettes creates a lady-like look. For my Dame de Paris collection, I selected a mysterious, deep blue shade and added silver accents for a subtle sparkle. A new style this season is The Adventuress with its the legion blue fabric and translucent fine mesh.
Skin-revealing bold cutouts
A desire to reveal the unknown inspired the Peekaboo and The Illusionist. The seductive designs of The Illusionist offer a play of reveal and conceal, with 2 versions: with or without a nude bra base. Looking for even more ‘va-va-voom’? Discover my irresistible Peekaboo collection, for which I used my favorite leopard print and added flirty ruffles.
Toffee, chocolate or caramel?
Brown is definitely one of the key fall 2020 color trends. From warm coffee and burnt caramel to chocolate hues and terra cotta shades: these rich and warm tones take over this season. Go for the unexpected combination of smoldering caramel and sexy faux leather with my Femme Fatale collection.
