And so.. The adventure begins
This season, we celebrate the fearless female adventurers who followed their crazy dreams to the coldest, most unforgiving places on earth: the North- and South Pole. From polar bear-hunting Louise Arner Boyd who became the first woman to fly over the North Pole, to Inuit translator Tookoolito whose courage and survival skills saved all the members of the ill-fated Polaris expedition in 1871. These badass polar explorers are my muses - the pilots, scientists, climbers and dreamers who restored women to their proper place in history, which is: anywhere we bloody want to go.
So, let's boldly step into the ice-cold unknown. Dare to dream, and dare to dream extreme. As our adventurous Ice Queens proved: impossible is nothing. Dare to grow, by letting your heart guide you like the unwavering Polaris (or North Star), while embracing the power of perseverance, symbolized by the Polar bear. The one day, realizing your have redrawn the map of your life, you simply dare to be. Perhaps your life itself will become a map - a bright shining Polaris for future generations.
This season, get your winter glow on in my 'Polaris' Couture Collection. I combined my own North Star-inspired 'knitting' pattern with dapper shoulder straps and faux-leather details that evoke an adventurer's spirit. A silver-plated Polar bear pendant is the perfect 'icing' on the cake, together with the rhinestones that I sprinkled on the design like ice crystals. With the motto gracing the lining of the bottoms - 'Dare to get lost to find yourself' - I dare you to explore the uncharted territories of your soul. And so, the adventure begins...

I talked with the Dutch architect and educator about sensuality, ‘healthy’ buildings and the remarkable parallels between our designs.

More than a feeling
Don’t ignore your emotions; they are much more powerful than you can imagine. By linking the magical world of emotions with hard science, Dutch scientist Pierre Capel, professor emeritus in experimental immunology, shows us the consequences of our feelings and the power of our minds. The message: we can do much more than we think. “Meditate. It’s the single best thing you can do for your health.”

Keto curious?
The fact that I feel bikini-confident all year round is, of course, a nice bonus. But for me, the biggest payoff of following the keto diet is the way it optimizes my health and gives me tons of energy.

Super (skin) food
‘If you can’t eat it, why put it on your skin?’. I pretty much live by this beauty adage. After all, with your skin being one of your body’s largest organs, anything – and I mean anything! – you put onto your skin will end up in your bloodstream.
