This season, get inspired by the trailblazing looks of the first flying feminists. With their tweed skirts, jumpsuits and leather flight jackets these awesome aeronauts sure flew in style. Go for a dashing look with a military touch and a generous sprinkling of insignia and patches. Show the world that you are the pilot of your own destiny!

luscious light

To reach the stars, you have to travel light. The sleek, lightweight looks marching down the runways recently looked like they were ready for takeoff. Wowing in iconic black and dirty white, with a subtle Lurex sparkle here and there, the fabrics were reminiscent of parachute silks.

bold & bright

Embrace the thrill of living dangerously and send temperatures roaring in this season’s bold, graphic-heavy looks in bright red, alarm blue and hazard yellow. Color blocking is back, and how! Caution, wear this look at your own risk!

layers & lace

Airline chic is back, and so are the gorgeous pastel blue hues worn by stewardesses during the golden age of commercial flight (aka those stylish 1960s). Channel their worldly sophistication and steely determination by layering colors with names like ‘Blue Frost’ and Superjet Blue’; a ton-sur-ton ode to that fabulous female workforce in the sky.
