This Space Odyssey collection is made from a Nile blue jacquard fabric. Silver lurex is woven through the fabric to give it a bit of sparkle. A softener finish will be added to create a soft feel on your body. The most important aspect of this collection is symmetry, which demands a lot of skill! A perfect example is the thong, where the graphic design of the back results in straps with different widths and lengths and lots of fixation points, which means extra accuracy is required in construction. The straps are connected by silver colored ornaments, which match perfectly with the silver lurex.

Amelia Earhart was born with wanderlust. As a little girl, she dreamed of exploring the world and meeting people from different cultures. No wonder she became a pilot, 'blazing the uncharted skyways'. Wherever she landed, Amelia would find a local family to stay with, rather than spend the night at a hotel. She preferred an authentic experience. At 39, she decided to make her biggest dream come true: a trip around the world. 'My frosting on the cake', she called it. "Here was shining adventure, beckoning with new experiences, added knowledge of flying , of peoples - of myself," she wrote of her motivation, adding: "Then, too, there was my belief that now and then women should do for themselves what men have already done - and occasionally what men have not done." Amelia made stops in South America, Africa, India and Southeast Asia, drinking in the colorful customs of the locals. But after taking off from Lae, Papua New Guinea, Amelia would vanish into legend. “It was a night of stars,” she wrote years earlier during her solo trip over the Pacific, “of tropic loveliness. Stars hung outside my cockpit window near enough to touch." Nobody knows exactly what happened to Amelia. But I like to think she still wanders among those stars, reaching out to touch them whenever she likes.
