The first step marlies|dekkers took to become more transparent is by signing The Transparancy Pledge in 2019. This Pledge helps apparel and footwear companies’ demonstrate commitment towards greater transparency in their manufacturing supply chain. By making a company’s supply chain transparent, it helps the company to collaborate with society in identifying, assessing, and avoiding actual or potential adverse human rights impacts.
In the same year marlies|dekkers signed up for The Open Apparel Registry, a neutral and publicly accessible database of every facility in the global apparel and footwear sector, for the purposes of enabling industry collaboration and improved identification of factories.
Besides signing up for these initiatives, we openly share our plans, progress and vendor base online on our website and are we continuously working on our supply chain transparency.

You know I’m a self-made woman who has made it my purpose to challenge women to dare. It’s an achievement I am immensely proud of, and for that reason, I am equally proud to label myself a feminist. Meet Viktoriya Isakova (41), a stunningly beautiful Russian actress who is not afraid to get down and dirty for her brave performances. Her film credits include ‘Tochka’ (2006), a movie about human trafficking and prostitution and ‘Mirrors’ (2013), in which she plays the tragic Marina Tsvetaeva, one of the greatest Russian poets of the 20th century. I talked to the winner of many (international) awards about ageing, lingerie, and the need to always stay true to yourself.
