Marlies is a Master speaker at WORLDZ, Los Angeles

At WORLDZ, Los Angeles, Marlies took her audience on a 90 minute, very important journey; The one of stepping out of your comfort zone! Women (and men!) really dared to share their deepest, most inner erotic desires and some even read them out loud to the audience, dared to stand out from the crowd! Powerful moments where people were confronted with their personal interpretation of our mission “Dare to dream, dare to grow, dare to be.”

          Signature Collection book

Marlies Dekkers has already published a number of books. Together with Dutch writer Heleen van Royen, she wrote the bestseller Stout (Eng. Naughty), and 33 propositions, a collaboration between Marlies and writer Meghan Ferrill, was lauded in the poetry and art scene. However, these books are just a taste of the many titles Marlies has to her name. The marlies|dekkers Signature Collection consists of lingerie designs which have become iconic. They are immediately recognisable to many and still some of the most popular designs among fans of the brand. It was high time to publish the campaign photography and inspirational texts of this collection in an exclusive book. The Signature Collection book was published at the beginning of 2015 in a limited edition and is only available to a lucky few.

          Marlies in TV show Maestro

As an artist, Marlies Dekkers is naturally mostly known for her famous work as a lingerie designer, but her creativity goes much deeper. For example, she regularly shoots campaign photos herself and she paints a great deal, too. The Dutch television programme Maestro uncovered yet another talent: together with other celebrities, Marlies met the challenge of conducting the most complex compositions for a 65-piece orchestra. Marlies made it to the semi-final of the programme, which drew more than one million viewers each week. Now Marlies can also add the art of conducting to her repertoire!
