Ringing in 2019!
What a beautiful whirlwind 2018 has been! As I’m about to ring in the new year, I would like to take a moment and look back at an amazing year with you. My dream, when I started marlies|dekkers over 25 years ago, was to empower women worldwide. Well, I can say that my feminine feminist mission reached a peak when I took my Unlock Your Potential tour on the road this year. From New York to Moscow, from Amsterdam to Warsaw; to help women all over the world feel, think and radiate confidence was an absolute honor and thrill. So, with a heart filled to the brim with gratitude, I would like to raise my glass to your good health and happiness. And while we’re at it, how about a toast to another 25 years of empowering women?
Let’s do it! Happy new year!
Dare to dream, dare to grow, dare to be.

fall|winter 20 preview
In January, I presented my newest FW20 collection during a show full of dance and entertainment in Rotterdam. All my work as a feminist designer is inspired by muses, powerful female icons from past and present. And for FW20, my muse will be crime writer Agatha Christie. A few months from now, you will get to discover the collections, and see how they tell stories like Agatha’s thrilling books do..

Bram shared some interesting alternatives with me, from throwing out our phones to running ‘till we puke’.
