All my work as a feminist designer is inspired by muses. Powerful female icons from past and present. Although women have been marginalized for centuries, archetypes of female power have always been there. Through my designs, I bring them to you. To help us shape the world of modern-day feminism.

This season, we step into the mystic - aka 'arcana' - with the Queens of Cards. From the glorious female archetypes of the Tarot to the card-reading 'Tarotistas'; these ladies can show you how to reshuffle your cards and win at the game of life. For many generations, we have been taught to mistrust our feminine intuition. Tarot offers an accessible - and playful! - way to regain your spiritual authority and reconnect with the wisdom of your soul. Are you ready to see what's in the cards for you?

For each phase of your life, there is different Tarot muse. But only one card is the perfect personification of your inner magic: The Magician. The Magician card is numbered One, the number of new beginnings. A coincidence? Of course not. So, let's begin. Feel the magic flow through you. You have power at your fingertips, the world at your feet. This is your moment. Dare to dream and start fulfilling your potential. The infinity sign above your head points to the endless possibilities on your life path. On the table are all the tools you need: your ambition, emotional intelligence, means and wits, symbolized by the Wand, the Cup, the Coin and the Sword. Grab them, use them and Dare to grow! Learn from your mistakes, reshuffle your deck if you have to. Remember: you always have more cards up your sleeve. By pointing one hand to the sky, the other to the ground, just like The Magician, you are connecting heaven with earth, the outer world with your inner conscience. Dare to be. You are magical.

My 'Arcana' Couture collection was designed to awaken your inner Magician. I created a structured, sculpted look by wrapping your curves - quite literally! - with bandage-style straps in bewitching black. Adding a touch of sparkly magic, I used rope crafted from luxurious gold Lurex to lace the intricately woven bandage pattern together. The stylish knots refer to both the Japanese art of Shibari - literally: 'to tie' - while revealing the arcana (secret) of the Tarot: the power to connect the inner with the outer world.
