Alexandra Joner wears my new couture collection

Alexandra Joner wears my new couture collection

by Marlies Dekkers
When I came up with the idea of designing a lingerie couture collection, I thought of adventurous women, dreamers and modern thinkers who would wear the collection. I launched the couture line in the past winter collection and now the second collection is available since a few days. I got surprised by the news that the Norwegian singer Alexandra Joner was already spotted in the spring/summer couture collection. Besides her big talent in making music, Alexandra is the type of women I had in mind for the collection in the first place. Her style is provocative, sensual and unapologetically sexy, right on spot for the couture collection. She wears the Dancing Princess body, a soft pink-nude coloured body with bright sparkling rhinestones and a stunning piece of jewelry decorating your décolleté.

In January, I presented my newest FW20 collection during a show full of dance and entertainment in Rotterdam. All my work as a feminist designer is inspired by muses, powerful female icons from past and present. And for FW20, my muse will be crime writer Agatha Christie. A few months from now, you will get to discover the collections, and see how they tell stories like Agatha’s thrilling books do..
