behind the collection
Digital tweed print
This season the iconic Gloria collection is designed in a warm coffee brown tweed print. The technique we use to create this the tweed design is called digital fabric printing. The fabric is printed using large format ink-jet printing machines. The tweed print is easily loaded into specific print software and then sent to the printer. Fun fact: this way of dying fabrics is the most eco-friendly! To complement the brown tweed print, the bras and thong are finished off with brown faux leather ornaments. Do you wonder how this ornament is created? First the shape of the ornament is being cut out and afterwards the m|d logo is pressed in. The ornaments connect both bra shapes. For a smooth transition between the straps and the faux leather junction, the straps must be placed at an angle, no errors allowed.
