At marlies|dekkers, transparency has long been part of our sustainability journey. As a certified B Corporation, we believe our customers should be able to understand not only the design of their lingerie, but also the story behind how it was made.

That’s why, starting in 2026, we introduced a Digital Product Passport in collaboration with Textracer. This digital system helps us map the supply chain behind our products—from raw materials to finished piece. By collecting verified data directly from our suppliers, the platform maps where different parts of a product originate and how they come together during production.

How does it work?
For our customers, this transparency becomes accessible through a simple QR code on the care label. By scanning the code with your phone, you can explore the journey of your piece: where certain materials come from, which production partners were involved, and how the garment moved through the chain before reaching you. Rather than relying on general claims, the information is based on primary data shared by the suppliers themselves.

Opening up the supply chain in this way reflects a broader shift in the fashion industry toward greater accountability and transparency. For us, it is also a natural next step in our ongoing sustainability work—one that not only prepares us for upcoming European regulations, but also allows us to share the craftsmanship and collaboration behind each design more openly.
