Dare to take a bite out of life!
When God created us, he put us first in a garden: the Garden of Eden (which, I suppose, made Eve and Adam the first gardeners!). After we got banned for eating the Forbidden Fruit - not an apple but a juicy pomegranate, according to scholars - we would forever try to recreate paradise: our own Garden of Earthly Delights.

This is where we slow down, surrender to the seasons and awaken our senses. Where we feel the interconnectedness of all things. No wonder bad-ass 12th century nun and horticulturist Hildegard von Bingen had her greatest insight while working in her garden. The divine is not above all things, she realized, but alive inside every leaf, flower and apple.
More than 800 years later, we can feel the same sensual energy coursing through our veins when we squat in our garden, our fingers rubbing the rich soil. We taste it when we bite into a crisp, freshly picked apple, its sweet juices running down our chin. Yes, this is our own Garden of Eden, where anything is possible, and nothing is forbidden. So go ahead, take that bite!
